Crumbling

Tears, with their salty humidness,
wear away the stone walls
preventing the psyche’s emergence

I have been very sick lately, so I apologize if I have not been as prompt or as responsive with everyone’s great comments.

I always find illness to be a borderland of sorts. Defenses get worn down, while paradoxically, your body mounts its significant defenses. In the “not quite functional” thought process of illness, ideas and thoughts, often held behind stone walls percolate to the surface.

While I was meditating at one point, I had the image of tears, wearing away stones forming walls. The walls were once put up for protection, but in their enactment of protection, these walls prevent the emergence of our psyche.

Tears are the transformative force. Water and salt and they drop our walls.

Never judge your tears or yourself for crying. As we know, water is one of the most powerful forces on Earth 🙂

  1. I didn’t know you had been sick, I hope by this time you are doing better and well on the path of recovery – and hope you are giving yourself time to recover!! Water can wear a hole into rock, not by force, but by persistence, and sometimes we just need the cleansing powers of that water!! Take care!!
