Meditative Control

Meditative Control-
Place the Mind on the precipice
and refuse to let it Roll.

I love this picture. I pictured the mind as a circle, sitting atop a curved point. When I drew it, to me, it looked like someone’s head atop the shoulders.

I thought this is what meditation is all about- keeping the mind centered when it really wants to roll in one direction or another 🙂

  1. that’s exactly how I view my meditation, too… and, coming from someone that didn’t believe in meditation and thought it was a waste, I’ve never been so happy to have proved myself wrong!! I try and do at least two 5 minute sessions each day – and now I’m working on adding in a 10 min session (and yes, I’m surprised at how fast that time goes!!). My goal is 21 min per day, because studies!
