Perhaps we are more like the Egg and the Sperm than we care to Admit

The egg and sperm-
neither know they are only carrying half of a life.

They feel whole and complete.

They mark a journey of growth from initial oogonium and spermatogonium
to the present moment in which they have yet to meet.

All the while, neither knowing they are incomplete.

Then they meet and within a millisecond – wholeness-
a new life emerges from the half-lives of before.

I wonder sometimes, if we are not the egg and sperm, living half-lives (obviously a play on the haploid number of chromosomes in these cells vs. “normal” cells), although we may not know it.

We feel so full, we may not even realize a portion of our lives our missing.

And then suddenly, we match up with some other force, and our form completes- and a new life emerges.

  1. I loved this – I did get your meaning right away – so no, you didn’t do a crappy job explaining! I was going to comment that being complete with Spirit is the path to Wholeness, Oneness. :-)
