I Love Women Who….

A Woman Who Loves

A Woman Who Loves

I love women who are brave enough to cross the mountains of life.
I love women who survive.
I love women who survive and still manage to carry the light of the living.
I love women who travel with their hearts upon their breasts.
I love women who travel with hearts upon their breasts and refuse, despite several indications to do otherwise, close such heart.
I love women with the experience of many, many moons.
I love women with the experience of many, many moons who still remember to laugh.
I love women who can smile while they traverse the deserts of life.
I love women who can smile while they traverse the deserts of life with hot sand underneath feet.
I love women who are brave and who have survived.

  4. This poem is really amazing, so eloquent and authentic. Women are survivors of so very much…
it is good for us to love ourselves and to let each other know that we are loved and admired.
