For the New Year: Playing Your Hand in Life
During time particular
in the black box container of night
When darkness exists as tangible, silky mass
Life may, if your head reaches equilibrium,
Life may tip its hand
And with coquettish smile and humor eyes,
Life will whisper,
“You hold the cards. Now, play your hand.”

Weird characters sometimes show up in my dreams, and last night this was one of them. I love the look of him. To me, he looks a little like a goat. The goat is symbolic in several cultures, and of course, it is the symbol of Capricorn. I love his pentagon face. The pentagon shape symbolizes completion- representing the 5 elements and the human form. I love this figure’s playful wink, as it confidently contains everything and sees the humor in it all.
Happy New Year- play with life!

Capricorn…that’s me!! I know the goat well!! This is really a cute fellow! Like!
Hold your cards…etc…that wisdom is a good one to learn in the art of life and when to play your hand.
The goat indeed is important in many cultures; example is sacred to Thunor (Anglo-Saxon for Thor) who happens to be my protector! It has always surprised me that people are unaware of the mathematical aspect of the pentagon and # 5. As you have pictured here, 5 and the pentagon is an aspect of facial symmetry!
Indeed…play is what it’s all about! always find time for it.
